My sister's recently got a really nice boyfriend. he talks to mum and stuff, and he knows i'm blind. trouble is, i'm really shy talking to him, we were talking about radio commentary regarding football earlier and my face went bright red. i couldn't help it and i'm sure he noticed. this is really bugging me. Also, my sister isn't using very nice tones with me lately, which also shows me up a bit, gur'r'r'r'r'r'r'r'r'r'r'r'r'r.

I'd say you are subconsciously attracted to this guy, blushing is a definate sign as I've done it several times. I'd try not to be in his company and to have a sincere word with your sister. If her relationship doesnt last, and he's at all interested then go for it.. but expect fireworks.

Your sister might be sensing attraction between the two of you, and that might be why she is trying to make you look bad in front of him.

I don't think that's necessarily true. I'm assuming your sister is older than you, and older sisters who want to look all grown-up and cool to their boyfriends are always embarrassed by their younger siblings. It's probably not personal. As for your being shy around him... I also don't think that necessarily has anything to do with your being attracted to him. He is "a boyfriend", one of those mythical creatures that you might have for yourself one of these days, and it's not surprising that your a bit awed and tongue-tied. Don't worry about it so much; nothing is wrong with you *smile*. All three of you will get used to the situation and loosen up around each other.
